Puffy glass is a kiln-forming glass technique developed by artist Anjali Srinivasan , This technique combines finely powdered glass with common kitchen ingredients such as flour, rice or oatmeal with water. The dough is placed in a kiln where it expands and falls naturally, creating unique and natural forms. Here I have explored the effects different materials have on the glass when they are included in the kiln firing process.
